John joined the Barrabool Hills team in 1987, and since that time has seen many changes take place in the life of the church.  John is married to Anne, and has three adult children and five grandchildren.

During his time on team John has served in various leadership capacities and is currently an Assoc. Pastor, Pastoral Elder, Global Mission Director, as well as providing leadership in the prayer and pastoral care ministries of the church.

One of John’s passions is to see the church ie. God’s people making a difference in the world that we live in, whether that is here in Australia or overseas. Passages such as Micah 6:8 provide John with motivation for the ministry he carries out at Barrabool Hills.  

John has been pivotal in developing the relationship between Barrabool Hills and the Christ’s Restoration Centre (CRC) Churchesin Kenya (read more by visiting Ministries/Global Missions).  John had the privilege of visiting these centres in 2006, and again in 2008, to build on the relationship with the people at CRC.
