K25000 - Exercise for a cause! E-mail
k25000_web.png

What is the K25000?  K25000 = Exercise for a Cause!

During the month of March the K25000 will provide opportunity for all participants to invest in their own personal fitness and at the same time invest in the well-being of others.  In this case the poor, needy and   disadvantaged of the K Slum andrural areas of Kenya.

How does it work?  During March people are encouraged to undertake an exercise regime of their choosing eg. bicycleriding, exercise bike, jogging or running, walking, swimming, horse riding, WiiFit hours etc., etc. and in the process raise sponsorship or donate to the K25000 challenge for every km covered eg. 5 cents to `x’ dollars per km, or lump sum amounts for overall goals achieved.

Other forms of exercise/ activities will equate to $$’s in different ways eg. every kg shed in the gym may be worth $10, or every set of tennis played or every Wii Fit hour $2.  There is room for individuals and groups to be creative and age is not a barrier to being involved.

During March there will be some organized events for people to participate in.

Why not Exercise for a Cause in March 2010?

This is an initiative of the Barrabool Hills Baptist Community Church, in conjunction with CRC Churches Kenya.
